    Summer Undergraduate 91精品 Experience

    The SURE program funds promising undergraduate researchers for eight weeks over the summer to engage in faculty-supervised research. The SURE program will support students with either a $3,200 stipend (40 hours/week) or $1,600 stipend (20 hours/week)  and on-campus housing if needed. Faculty may be provided with a $400 stipend to offset the cost of supplies/materials necessary to support student research. SURE is sponsored by the Division of 91精品 and Economic Development, Honors College, Brain Health 91精品 Institute, Healthy Communities 91精品 Institute, Environmental Science and Design 91精品 Institute, Global Understanding 91精品 Institute, Anti-racism and Equity Institute, Office of the President and the Paul and Janis DiCorleto Summer 91精品 Award Endowment, and the William Doane SURE Fund.  In addition, SURE is supported by the following individuals, departments, colleges, institutes and others

    The Student 91精品 Experience provides an opportunity for students to collaborate in one-on- one research with a faculty member at any point in their educational journey.  Students benefit in working with a faculty member to acquire basic research skills and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. In addition, the engagement provides students with hands-on experiences as they formulate decisions about majors and careers.
